However, the recent experience attempting to book a follow-up appointment has been highly unsatisfactory. Since experiencing new foot pain related to surgery, an appointment has been attempted on four separate occasions. Each time, the office called to reschedule or adjust the appointment on short notice. Given the distance of the Pinehurst office from home and workplace, these last-minute changes are unmanageable. Furthermore, appointments scheduled at the Raeford office were also consistently rescheduled. The persistent cancellations have prevented me from being seen for ongoing pain. A new podiatrist has ultimately been sought. While Dr. Haro's medical care is excellent, the lack of reliability and poor customer service from the office staff are unacceptable. My son jokes about hurting his foot again so that he can go back. Of course he’s only joking but he loved going to see Dr Haro! I was very impressed with the level of care and friendliness that Dr. Kevin provided. He is easy to talk to and made sure we understood our options for treatment for my 8 year old son. The office is efficient and cordial. We were always in and out with a time that worked well for us. We got in right away when needed for a concern. It's worth mentioning a couple of things...when one of the nurses thought I dropped the ball on scheduling a pre-op appointment, I could see that she was very frustrated with me. Also, I got a call confirming an appointment in where my son's first name was the same as another patient's, and after insisting that our appointment was for another day, I asked her to verify the DOB in where we found she called the wrong patient. A nurse that may be stressed and shows frustration, or a young, in-training scheduler who makes a mistake do not bother me. The front desk staff were incredibly kind and quickly scheduling us despite my husband’s complicated work schedule. Our nurse, Kelly, was knowledgeable and supportive throughout the visit. Dr. Haro was compassionate and attentive, providing excellent treatment recommendations—truly a top-tier doctor. Towards the end of our visit, we discovered he attended the same college as my husband—War Eagle! ???? The office staff is not!! If you don’t have friendly staff to help you fix a bill that they screwed up, you’re going to lose patients!! There are other places with better staff!!
